2017 Derringer Awards Shortlist

Congratulations to Bruce D. Arthurs whose story in the December Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine, “Beks and the Second Note”, is a 2017 Derringer Awards finalist.

The Derringer Awards have been given out annually since 1998 by the Short Mystery Fiction Society. Society members will vote during April and the winners will be announced on May 1, 2017.

  2. Update: Because “Walking the Dog” (Long Story category) was originally published before 2016, it was replaced with a different story. See SMFS site for more info.
