2018 Chesley Awards Nomination List

The Association of Science Fiction & Fantasy Artists has released the finalists for the 33rd annual ASFA awards, the Chesleys. The Chesley is named for astronomical artist Chesley Bonestell.

The winners will be voted by ASFA members. The awards will be presented at a ceremony to be held during Worldcon 76 in San Jose.

  1. Still a lot of seductively drawn women in the mix, and very few seductively drawn men- I think I counted one (a faun). Most of the human figures seemed female, interestingly – I don’t think that’s always been the case. The level of skill seemed very high to me (whether the art included sexy figures or not).
