  1. I disclaim all credit for the story. I did accidentally notice that the awards were being announced and alerted Mike to that fact, but he did all the work of ferreting out which categories had any genre interest and readying the info for publication.

  2. Mike Kennedy: I probably have never said this in so many words — but the “thanks for the story” is ordinarily my appreciation that somebody sent me a link or a lead for a non-bylined story I worked up.

    When somebody writes a post, I give it their byline.
