LoneStarCon 3 Sends PR#3

LoneStarCon 3, the 2013 Worldcon in San Antonio, has published Progress Report #3 containing Hugo Award nomination forms and detailed hotel information.

LoneStarCon 3 hotel bookings will open on Monday, January 21, 2013.

The Hugo Award nomination process is open to all adult and young adult members of LoneStarCon 3 who join by January 31, 2013, as well as all members of Loncon 3 (the 2014 Worldcon) who join by the same date, and all members of Chicon 7 (the 2012 Worldcon). Nominations officially opened on January 1, 2013, and members may submit their ballots either online or by postal mail.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas ñ LoneStarCon 3, the 71st World Science Fiction Convention (“Worldcon”), has begun mailing Progress Report #3 (PR3). Members should begin to receive their progress reports by the end of the week.

Members may download PR#3 from www.LoneStarCon3.org/publications/index.shtml. Members who are uncertain whether they have requested electronic or paper progress reports may check their status with the membership team by emailing [email protected].

Progress Report #3 contains a number of important items for LoneStarCon 3 members. This includes the Hugo Award Nominating Ballot as well as detailed information about booking arrangements for the Marriott Rivercenter and Marriott Riverwalk hotels providing our accommodation.
