2000 – Curt Siodmak, (b. 1907), scripted The Wolf Man and wrote the novel Donovan’s Brain
2013 – Frederik Pohl (b. 1919), author of the highly acclaimed Gateway and under his editorship Galaxy and If won the Hugo Award for Best Professional Magazine in 1966, 1967 and 1968.
