  1. That’s IT, we’re boycotting the Chelsey Awards! I don’t know how someone might boycott an award, but we’ll figure it out! Fire up the email spambots, Warrant Officer Brad!

  2. Congrats to Shelly Bond, eic of my longest- running series!

And to Irene Gallo and all the nominees.

  3. Nick, you seriously have some issues. Can’t you at least TRY to be an adult and congratulate the nominees and leave out the BS? If not, you’re simply showing yourself to be someone who is duly ignorable. Then again, I suppose for most trolls, that is your goal.

  4. Michael,

I think I missed your comment where you congratulated the nominees.

  5. “Can’t you at least TRY to be an adult and congratulate the nominees and leave out the BS?”

If Brad had managed that, this whole mess wouldn’t exist for Nick to troll about.

  6. Congrats to all the nominees, and IIRC Tor.com usually has a roundup/ preview of the nominated material. They may put some up later today.

  7. Congratulations to all the nominees! I’m particularly delighted to see Julie Dillon’s name. She’s a favourite of mine. I’m also pleased for Irene Gallo, since after all the fuss she could probably do with something nice happening.

  8. According to Picacio, “If you’re not currently an ASFA member, join! It only costs a measly $35 and you gain full voting privileges.”

    Uh-oh.

  9. Unless the members vote for the Chesley Award nominees, and I don’t think they do, there’s nothing for ASFA to worry about. Of course, they could always use the money… 😉

  10. If Irene Gallo wins I hope she will be allowed to discuss it on her personal Facebook page without her boss shaking his finger at her.
