Gorn But Not Forgotten

Discovery Channel’s Mythbusters will to test a bamboo cannon from classic Star Trek’s “Arena” episode to see if it actually works. The show will air December 28 at 9:00 p.m. In the meantime, enjoy the YouTube preview.

    The test won’t be valid until and unless they film it at Vasquez Rocks.

    I have to concur on that. The YouTube promo was obviously shot somewhere else entirely. I’d reconize the real Vasquez Rocks any time! Not only did I skin my knee there once, but it’s right next to Bedrock.
