This was the first I noticed that they’re not using The Major’s name. I wonder if they’re just downplaying Kusanagi, if she’ll get a different name, or if she won’t get one at all.
Looks like they’re going with the Indivicual Eleven storyline from the 2nd season of Standalone Complex.
Beyond the whole whitewashing aspect, I gotta say that Johannson…sounds wrong. I’m more used to a different voice/intonation from the Major.
It looks like she’s not going to have a name.
I hope the Tachikomas have the same bubbly, chattering personalities. I kinda doubt it, it looks to be all srs bzness. But I love those little guys!
