Filer Meetup #1 at Worldcon 75

Greg Hullender says of today’s Filer meetup at Worldcon 75, “It was a fun event, full of smiles and laughter.”

  1. Hope everyone has a Worldcontastic time! I’m sorry this is why they make me stay at home.

  2. A little confused since some have shifted between photos. And is there one more in the second photo?

  3. I think Hampus is talking about the first picture. In the second picture, starting with Hampus and going clockwise around the table, I think it’s:

    Hampus Eckerman
    His father Björn
    Kendall
    Heather Rose Jones
    Chad Saxelid
    Cora Buhlert
    Sylvia Sotomayor
    Greg Hullender
    Jonas Eckerman (Hampus’s brother)
    Greg Machlin

  4. Okay, so Silvia has the multi-colored shirt on?

(I’ve only met Heather, so she’s the only one I’m sure of)

  5. In the second picture, there are two more people to the right of Greg Machlin;

    Ingvar
    Rick Moen

  6. Yes. I am the one in the multi-colored shirt. It was a pleasure to meet everyone.

  7. @lurkertype: “Kendall is the dude with the ponytail?? I am croggled.”

I iz ponytail dude. 🙂 ::bows::

    I hate photos. 😛

  8. Ah, I thought that looked like Rick’s hair.

Kendall, I thought you were a lady. Thus my croggleation. Maybe I have you confused with someone else. Maybe I’m just confused.

  9. @lurkertype: No problem. It’s the hair. 😛

More seriously, maybe related or maybe not, but I have referred to my spouse as “he” (er, which he is). This can lead to a reasonable (statistically speaking) guess that I’m a straight woman, instead of a bi guy. For this and other reasons, I usually avoid pronouns for my spouse, but maybe this backfires on me?! 😉
