Don’t you think a better end to Lost would have been for everyone to emerge through the back door of an Italian restaurant and pass Tony Soprano on the way out?

That would have tied up the loose ends from both series.

  2. OMG, that’s hilarious!

    Strangely enough, I was reading a local paper (week old, nothing else on hand) and they had an article on LOST in their faith and religion section, wherein the reporter assured everyone that the island was absolutely NOT purgatory.

    Your ending is reminiscent of another surrealistic show’s ending, with the exception of no chorus of ‘Them Bones”….

  4. Not my idea, but the best suggestion I’ve seen on the web was that Bob Newhart woke up next to Suzanne Pleshette and complained about the nightmare he had just had.

    You apparently did not see the Jimmy Kimmel Show that immediately followed the Lost finale.

  9. Rich: No, I didn’t — I actually never watched Lost at all, just read about it — interminably — and usually watch The Daily Show and The Colbert Report, although that night I went to bed early. But I have heard about it since.

    Michael Walsh: Thank you for the link, I look forward to watching the alternatives, as Kimmel’s pre-recorded bits are almost always hilarious, it’s just his live show I don’t much like.
