Return of the Ring Fast Approaching

The Return of the Ring will celebrate the 75th anniversary of The Hobbit and the forthcoming movie at Loughborough University, England from August 16-20, 2012.

The latest news is about the event’s large art exhibition, featuring Ted Nasmith, Cor Blok, Anke Eissmann, Jay Johnstone, Jenny Dolfen, Ruth Lacon, Tor Fauskanger, Sue Wookey and Maike “Lúthien” Dulk alongside a huge diorama of the Battle of Pelennor Fields.

Cor Blok is known for his recent Tolkien Calendars, and his book A Tolkien Tapestry. Ted Nasmith is among the most historically significant creators of Tolkien art. View samples of the work by the exhibiting artists by clicking here.

The size of this exhibition is unprecedented — we are absolutely ecstatic to have gathered so many artists in one place.
