The EE British Academy Film Awards 2016 Winners were announced February 14 in London. Among the winners were several of genre interest.

BAFTA Award Nominations

Five science fiction films are among the 10 receiving the most nominations for the 2016 British Academy Film Awards. The winners will be announced February 14.

Inside Out’s writers also are nominated for Original Screenplay.

As one would expect, sf movies monopolized the visual effects category.
