The unopposed Westminster, Colorado (Denver Area) bid for the 2018 Westercon was voted the right to host the convention today by members of Westercon 69 in Portland, Oregon.
Westercon 71 will be at the Westin Westminster on July 4-8, 2018.
The guests of honor will be:

- Rebecca Moesta (Editor)
- Jeff Sturgeon (Artist)
- Margaret Davis & Kristoph Klover (Music/Filk)
The Denver bid committee is: Nikki Ebright – Con Co-Chair; Peter J Wacks – Con Co-Chair; Keith McClune; Sheila McClune; David Boop; Billy Van Ark – Treasurer; Lou Berger; Carrie Kay – Minion at Large.
