2 thoughts on “Finalists Announced for the 26th Audie Awards

  1. Jemisin + Miles = Magic! I haven’t gotten to The City We Became yet (I know, why am I so slow?!), but it’s high on my list. Also, Arnold’s The Last Smile in Sunder City is already waiting for me in my Audible library.

I’ve read good things about Clarke’s Piranesi, though it sounds a bit literary for me. Ejiofor sounds good, though, from a quick check of the sample.

Non-SFF: Birbiglia & Stein’s The New One is also in my library. I’ve been an occasional fan of Birbiglia’s stand-up for a long time!

@Mike Glyer: The narrators for The Trial of the Chicago 7 under “Multi-Voiced Performance,” The End of My Heart under “Original Work,” Burnt Tongues under “Short Stories/Collections,” and Stuck under “Young Listeners” all share a problem: they’re split into two bullets. I appertained myself a little chianti earlier with dinner earlier, just in case. 😉

ETA: I’ll bill my appertainment to the Audie Awards, if needed!

(BTW sorry I’m so behind and slow to read these posts. I want you to know I appreciate these awards posts a lot, even if I read them very late and/or don’t comment much!)
