LASFS at LitCrawl L.A.

NoHo LitcrawlThis year’s Hugo-nominated short stories will be read aloud by LASFS members during LitCrawl L.A.:NoHo on October 23.

Shawn Crosby, Jennifer Knighton, and Graydon Schlichter will do the honors at 7:30 p.m. at the  Art Institute of California.

The three stories nominated for the Hugo in 2013 were – “Immersion” by Aliette de Bodard, “Mantis Wives” by Kij Johnson and “Mono no Aware” by Ken Liu.

ALL Lit Crawl readings are free and open to the public (although some venues are 21 and over). The Lit Crawl will end with a fabulous “SPEAK-EASY” After Party at The Hesby from 9-11pm. This event will include free libations, food, loads of entertainment, literary activities, and the chance to win a one-year apartment lease at The Hesby. The After Party is a fundraiser for Lit Crawl, and tickets are just $15.
