SFWA has announced actor Nick Offerman will serve as toastmaster at the Nebula Awards on June 6 at the Palmer House Hotel in Chicago.  Offerman recently finished portraying Ron Swanson on the NBC series Parks and Recreation. His second book, Gumption, is scheduled to be released at the end of May.

The weekend will include a mass autographing open to the public (June 5 from 8-9:30), a day-long seminar in conjunction with the Illinois State Bar Association on June 5, a workshop on self-publishing, receptions, tours of Argonne National Laboratory & Fermi Lab and the Baker & Taylor Book Distribution Center in Momence, panels, and more.
