  1. Vampire: The Masquerade is miscredited. That’s the art team and it names Tomas Arfert twice. The game design was by Kenneth Hite, Karim Muammar, Karl Bergström, Freya Gyldenstrøm, and Martin Ericsson.

Where’s it from? I’ve seen the same error in multiple places and it’d be nice to get to the source.

  2. Jukka Särkijärvi: The credits I ran come from the nomination announcement, which appeared in a press release (https://www.acdd.com/news/press-releases/origins-2019.html) and several industry outlets like ICV2 (https://icv2.com/articles/news/view/43096/origins-award-nominees). The reason that version had legs is that it appeared before the Origin people posted the list on their own site, but the list on the Origins site now is the one YOU give, not the one in the press release. If the other people are the art team, well, how about if I just add the designers up front and label the art team after? Or does that only compound the mistake?

  3. That sounds solid. The art team certainly deserves credit for a really gorgeous book!

I also have a quibble with how it’s presented as Modiphius’s work when White Wolf produced the game and Modiphius only got the license afterwards, but that’s maybe not necessary to hash out here.

  4. “Jamie Stegmaier” is actually “Jamey Stegmaier.”

That said, however, it’s a good crop of winners. I disagree with a few (viscerally so in at least one case), but overall making the Origins award a juried award (with a separate “Fan Favorite” winner in each category) was a strong move.
