PKD Selling Like Hotcakes

The science fiction and fantasy genres are somewhat notorious for their best-selling dead authors. Philip K. Dick, at least, can be said to have written nearly all of his hot properties while he was alive.

Media Bistro reports that the Philip K. Dick omnibus, Four Novels of the 1960s, is Library of America‘s fastest-selling title ever: 23,750 copies have shipped.

Next on the launching paid is the Library’s second Dick collection, Five Novels from the 1960s and 1970s. Already more than 10,000 advance orders have been placed.

Right now would be a good time for the missing Philip K. Dick android to turn himself in and give the marketing department a hand.
