I was quite surprised to learn I thought this Gothic Fantasy is “Brilliant.” Having never before heard of the book or the author, you see.

Oh my. How do you intend to respond to this person?
Darlene: I narrowed down my choices to ignoring him altogether and posting about it here. Posting here won out because the situation is so silly. First, the deception is so easily uncovered that it’s like one of the “Stupid Crook Reports” people use to entertain LASFS meetings (like somebody who tries to hold up a doughnut shop where two cop cars are parked outside.) Second, we’re friends and all, but if you were looking for an endorsement to help sell your books my name would be pretty far down the list, right?
