  1. I have read, and liked, works from all on list except Muir. Any thoughts on her work?

Cheryl S. was nice enough to lend me her e-copy of that issue of F&SF. It’s a good story that goes unexpected places. I didn’t have it on my nomination ballot — but I could see why other people might have nominated it.

And congratulations to the nominees, especially oor wombat, for what is a very special award.

  3. I’ve read all of ’em, and they were all good. I put two of them on my Hugo list.

Hoping for Oor Wombat, of course.

  4. Everything I’ve read on that shortlist (all but the Muir) has been among my fa irites this year. ?
