I looked at the whole list and there’s a lot of good stuff.
It’s times like this that I start wishing the Hugos had more novel categories, so we could give out awards to more books!
It’s interesting to see ‘And then there were N-One’ yet again raising its head amid the crowd of book-type novellas.
Would this be the third year in a row for a randomly-selected entry in a randomly-selected category?
Mark: Yes it would. However, I’m counting on an sff fiction-publishing magazine to win the category again. There needs to be some sane corner of the genre universe left to stand on.
That’s a very impressive lineup in the First Novel category.
@Mike: I really like F&SF. Of the 3 old-school paper zines, it’s the one that seems to be doing the most interesting stuff. I read it regularly.
