The 2020 Ursa Major Awards winners were announced May 1. (Note: The award website labels them the 2020 winners, however, the presentation video calls them the 2021 awards.)
The Ursa Major Award is presented annually for “excellence in the furry arts.”
The recipients were decided by a public vote for 1,047 fans – complete voting statistics are at the link.

The 2020 Winners
Best Motion Picture — Live-action or animated feature-length movies.
• Wolfwalkers (Directed by Tomm Moore and Ross Stewart; October 26)
Best Dramatic Short Work — One-shots, advertisements or short videos.
• Zoophobia – “Bad Luck Jack” (Directed by Vivienne Medrano; September 30)
Best Dramatic Series — TV or YouTube series videos.
• Beastars (Directed by Shinichi Matsumi ;Season 1 Epsiode 1 to 12 USA Release English Dub)
Best Novel — Written works of 40,000 words or more. Serialized novels qualify only for the year that the final chapter is published.

Best Short Fiction — Stories less than 40,000 words, poetry, and other short Written works.

Congrats to all the makers of ‘The Fandom’, in which my friend Joe Strike is one of the interviewees.
