It’s nice that they run poetry. Is Apex a “semi-prozine?”

They also published the Nebula-winning “If You Were A Dinosaur My Love,” so you know they’ve got good taste!

It’s probably just as well. While I would love to write something that made people that emotional, Swirsky’s a much tougher woman than I to put up with that much grief.
And “Jackalope Wives” is terrific on its own merits, and well deserving of the award.
There’s a story called “If You Were a Dinosaur, My Love?” Huh. I’m surprised I never heard anything about it. People love dinosaurs!

I thought it was ‘If You Were a Water, My Love’? You are thinking of ‘The Dinosaur that Falls from On You From Nowhere’ – which presumably is velociraptor fan fiction.
