CanSMOF Scholarship Winners

CanSMOF Inc., parent non-profit organization of Anticipation, the 2009 Worldcon, has awarded $1000 scholarships to Catherine Crockett of Toronto, Ontario and Megan Totusek of Maryville, Missouri to enable them to attend Smofcon 29 in Amsterdam.

CanSMOF Inc., parent non-profit organization of Anticipation, the 2009 Worldcon, is pleased to announce that two $1000 scholarships for the purpose of attending Smofcon 29 in Amsterdam have been awarded.

The first scholarship was open to a Canadian citizen or resident, while the second was open to anyone involved in running conventions, regardless of their place of residence or citizenship. CanSMOF Inc. created these scholarships to allow promising convention-runners to attend the annual SMOFCon convention-runners convention.

The two scholarships have been awarded to Catherine Crockett of Toronto, Ontario and Megan Totusek of Maryville, Missouri. We wish to congratulate Catherine and Megan and to thank all those who applied.
