Edinburgh is celebrating the work of Iain M. Banks through August. The next event is a Book Quiz at the Central Library on July 25:

Do you know your Iain Banks from your Iain M. Banks? Celebrate one of Scotland’s greatest writers with a special Book Quiz, brought to you by Edinburgh Libraries and Blackwell’s Bookshop.

If you’re an avid fan of Iain M. Banks writing then come along with your team on Thursday evening 25 July. 

Teams of up to 6 people, booking to be made in the name of the Book Group ‘leader’, stating how many tickets you want for your team. 

Iain M. Banks is the name he used on his science fiction, which should be a sufficient hint for any fan.
