Seven of Nine Shines
From Eight To Nine

Hayley Atwell’s brilliant performance as Agent Carter wasn’t enough to overcome Agent Gibbs and top-rated NCIS on Tuesday night. Not when the NCIS episode featured a pair of Gibbs’ ex-wives, one of them played by Jeri Ryan, formerly of Star Trek: Voyager.

And despite lacking any of those advantages, NCIS: New Orleans also beat the second hour of Agent Carter.

8 p.m. – “NCIS” ruled the 8 p.m. hour for CBS with 19.49 million viewers and 2.8 rating among adults 18-49. ABC’s “Marvel’s Agent Carter” was second with 7.43 million viewers and a 2.0 key demo rating, topping the 5.26 million viewers and 1.8 key demo rating for FOX’s “MasterChef Junior” return….

  1. I thought Tuesday at 9pm was NCIS: New Orleans which starred Scot Bakula who starred in the memorable “Quantum Leap” and the highly forgettable “Star Trek” prequel.

  2. Right you are. I’ve made the correction.

Very good point about Bakula’s own sf history. I probably didn’t think of it because I’ve made several attempts and find NCIS: New Orleans unwatchable — which mystifies me, because I like the original pretty well.

  3. Hey, ENTERPRISE got pretty neat in its later seasons…

Which I wish someone had told me, when it was first on!

    😉
