Top 10 Posts For September 2010

Death and Hugos – two things no newzine can escape – commanded attention in September. The fan Hugos Aussiecon 4 awarded to Frederik Pohl and Starship Sofa ignited a series of controversial discussions here. And not even the New York Times publishing a link to Andrew Porter’s June report about F. Gwynplaine MacIntyre could push it ahead of “Overserved at The Drink Tank.”

Of course, a post that attracts 87 comments deserves to finish in first place – that’s a huge response measured by File 770 standards. Only one other post has ever has more hits, the news item “Peter Watts Receives Suspended Sentence” from April 2010.

Here is the complete Top 10 list of most frequently viewed posts for September 2010, according to Google Analytics.
