The issue of F&SF with novelette “A Strange Uncertain Light” by G.V. Anderson is available to Kindle Unlimited subscribers (at least in the US.)
The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction has archives in various publication databases, such as ProQuest, Gale Onefile, and EBSCOhost, which you may be able to access via your public library system or educational institution. Each library website that has them does so in different places, so look for “Research”, “Learn”, or “Databases” on your library webpage. You will probably need to log in with your library borrower card number and PIN.
I recommend ProQuest, if you have that available. The 40-page b&w PDF of “A Strange Uncertain Light” it has for download is about 176KB in size. It should also be possible to download a plain text, html, or RTF format version. Gale and EBSCOhost have scans in unnecessary color that are 8 -12MB in size.
