My short story “The Eight-Thousanders” was recently reprinted in Apex Magazine and is now online.
Thanks, JJ!
Thank you!
Thanks JJ as allways, a lot to read for free that time even two novellas.
Four of the novels but I’ve read very little of the short fiction. 🙁
Every March I’m “I should have read more short fiction last year – I’ll read more this year” and yet here we are.
I’m in the same boat, Camestros. Every year I vow that after Hugo noms are in but before finalists are announced, I’ll focus on Jan-Mar (or Apr) short fiction. And yet.
Thanks for all this, JJ!
For the past few years I’ve made a point to concentrate on short fiction from Sep to Dec. I read a quarter a month from 7 or so magazines. I’ve read 5 of the novelettes here, but only 2 of the short stories.

I’m finally reading some of these: Open House on Haunted Hill was great fun (and “The Shadow Prisons” cycle was chilling).
