  1. The Lord of the Rngs movies are crap. Anyone who thinks they reflect the books as written, explain why they end hundreds of pages before the books do, and who Tom Bombadil is.

  2. To be fair, to do the entire Lord of the Rings properly would have taken six or nine movies. I don’t like it that Tom Bombadil was excised, but to be fair, it was a self-contained episode that was easy to cut out. I’m actually more pissed off at the removal of the Scouring of the Shire.
