Doug and Mary Piero Carey find they are having to gently break the news about their “staycation” to the family feline
We found Cho Chang, one of our Tonkinese girls, interested in The Cruel Prince, a Lodestar nominee by Holly Black. She is probably wishing we all had plane seats to Dublin. Alas, we do not.

Photos of other cats (or whatever you’ve got!) resting on genre works are welcome. Send to mikeglyer (at) cs (dot) com

So you want more photos of cats and books? Okay, I’ll start sending them to you again.
I too am not going to Dublin. Ditto, New Zealand. One of my major concerns is saving this planet, one less airline seat at a time.
What a cutie! She clearly has good taste, as well.
She is a feline of excellent taste, and deserves to go to the Dublin Worldcon. And to vote for her favorite book for All The Awards.
LOL @ the new photo series, “Cats turn away from SFF.”
Thanks for sharing those wonderful photos!
The Cruel Prince didn’t do much for me, but Cho Chang clearly loves it, so great for her. And a real beauty she is, too.
Cho Chang seems unaware of the adulation. But thanks very much for your kind comments from both the humans.
First photo: “What!?”
Second photo: “Seriously?”
Poor Cho Chang, interrupted when she’s in the zone!
“Can’t you see I’m reading, here?”
