Morning Glory Zell-Ravenheart died May 13 according to updates on her Facebook page.
Born Diana Moore in Long Beach, CA, she married Church of All Worlds co-founder Oberon Zell in 1974 and became a priestess and leader in the church.
CAW was formed in 1962, applying to a group of friends and lovers the name of a fictional religion from Robert A. Heinlein’s novel Stranger in a Strange Land.
She has been credited with popularizing the term “Polyamory”, described as “consensual, ethical, and responsible non-monogamy.”
