Barbie came into tonight’s Golden Globes 2024 ceremony tied for the most nominations with nine but won only two awards, in the newly created Cinematic and Box Office Achievement category, and the Best Original Song, Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?”
Barbie lost the Best Musical Or Comedy Motion Picture to Poor Things, a feminist reimagining of the Frankenstein tale.

Congratulations to the winners!
(And I am at the same time disappointed that SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE did not win anything.)
Clickity
Wish I was surprised by these results, but at least Paul Giamatti’s win is a pleasant one.
I was kind of excited to see the two acting awards for The Holdovers because my brother and I just watched that last week.
