
The Critics Choice Association (CCA) announced the winners of the 30th Annual Critics Choice Awards on February 7.
On the movie side, non-genre film Anora won Best Picture, however, sff features Wicked and The Substance captured three trophies.
Wicked’s John Chu was named Best Director, Nathan Crawford and Lee Sandales shared Best Production Design, and Paul Tazewell won Best Costume.
The Substance’s Demi Moore was hailed as Best Actress, Coralie Fargeat was honored for Best Original Screenplay, and the film’s team won the Best Hair and Makeup category.
Nosferatu’s Jarin Blaschke won Best Cinematography. Dune: Part II took the Best Visual Effects category. Deadpool & Wolverine tied for Best Comedy.
The Wild Robot continued its run by winning Best Animated Feature.
On the television side, The Penguin’s Colin Farrell and Cristin Milioti received the top acting awards for a series, Squid Game won Best Foreign Language Series, and X-Men ’97 was named Best Animated Series.
