Cats Sleep on SFF: The Healer

No, make that – Dog on SFF! Kendall explains:

Ozma’s eight months old; we got her from a rescue two months ago. I recently found Michael Blumlein, MD’s The Healer, used, but my excuse for not reading it yet is that she’s on it!  😉

She started licking the top of the book, so I had to rescue it from her.  Now I have no excuse for not opening it.

  1. @Mike Glyer: Thanks for posting my puppy! 😀 If you had a series called “weird toys on dogs,” I’d supply a picture of a blue rubber hedgehog with creepy eyes on Ozma’s back. 😉 Not quite SFF, though.

For those who aren’t sure who Ozma is, FYI she’s “the rightful ruler of Oz.”

THIS Ozma’s also a member of the Stick Relocation Project. Those of you with dogs may be familiar with this project, which is neverending.

(Hmm, has anyone sent in an “SFF on sleeping pet” photo? The gears are slowly turning in my brain. . . .)

  2. SFF sleeping on a pet sounds like a great idea. I’m sure many of our books could use a nap, after the workouts we put them through.

Ozma is very cute, and just wanted to make sure it was a clean book, before you read it.

  3. @Lis Carey: Agreed on all counts, and thanks, I’ll let Ozma know she’s very cute!

I won’t say whether or not I sing ridiculously silly filks about how cute she is. Sample that I may or may not have sung (to the tune of “Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer true”): “Ozma, Ozma, how did you get so cute; I’m half-crazy over a pup like you. . . .” (IF I EVER SING THIS, and I’m not saying, then the next lyrics change each time and aren’t very good.)

I can’t believe I’m one of “those” dog owners, ROFLMAO. Save me! 🙂
