Dream Foundry announced the winners of its 2024 Art and Writing Contests on September 24. 

The Art Contest and Writing Contests are open to relatively new artists and writers.  The winners in each category are:

WRITING CONTEST

• First Place: Vikoriia Grivina
• Second Place: Kaia Ball
• Third Place: Nigel Faustino

ART CONTEST

• First Place: Moneke Gabriel
• Second Place: Martins Deep
• Third Place: Dhiyanah Hassan

In both contests the first place winner receives $1000 (the art contest’s prize money as part of the Monu Bose Memorial Prize). In addition, all of the winners and finalists will get their choice of seats at Flights of Foundry 2024’s workshop and limited seating sessions.

The winners were selected by art contest judges Lauren Raye Snow and Jessica Cheng and writing contest  judges Valerie Valdes and C.L. Polk.

The art contest coordinator was Grace P. Fong, and the writing contest coordinator was Julia Rios.
