- Hell Bent by Leigh Bardugo – 75,800 votes
- Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros – 397,565 votes
- In the Lives of Puppets by TJ Klune – 57.535 votes
- Holly by Stephen King – 77,993 votes

There were 5,879,213 votes cast. (Since one could vote in every category, the number of individual voters must have been substantially smaller.)
A few notes about some of the runners up:
In the Science Fiction category, John Scalzi’s Starter Villain placed third and Martha Wells’ System Collapse came in fifth.
In the Fantasy category, Travis Baldree’s Bookshops & Bonedust, prequel to Hugo finalist Legends & Lattes, finished in fifth place.
Among Horror finalists, T. Kingfisher’s A House with Good Bones placed third, and Silvia Moreno-Garcia’s Silver Nitrate ranked eighth.

Well, of course Fourth Wing won the “Romantasy” category, since that’s why it was created in the first place.
“Romantasy”, as a word, gives me the same queasy feeling that Fourth Wing did when I had finished it.
lol “Romantasy.” The runner-up didn’t even come close in this category. Most of the covers look the same.
