  1. There are a few other books with SFF content here and there throughout the other nominees. I noticed:

Walk-in by T.L. Hart in the lesbian mystery category
The Scorpion’s Empress by Yoshiyuki Ly in the lesbian romance category
Coils by Barbara Ann Wright in the lesbian romance category
Soul to Keep by Rebekah Weatherspoon in the LBTQ erotica category
The Angel of History by Rabih Alameddine in the gay fiction category

There may be others. (I haven’t read any of those, although there are some here and above where I’ve read other books by the same author.)

For myself, I’m particularly interested in:

Not Your Sidekick, by C.B. Lee. This one’s been on my radar for a while, will definitely check it out soon.

All Good Children, by Dayna Ingram. Her debut novel, the zombie-themed Eat Your Heart Out, was a bit rough here and there but was fun and showed tons of potential; I’ll be interested to see what she’s done next.

Lily, by Michael Thomas Ford. Hearing about this one for the first time here; sounds interesting!

  2. Thanks for pointing out some additional SFF titles. I looked at the linked descriptions of all the ones in the YA category since I could tell some were SFF, but the nominees in the other categories didn’t give off an SFF vibe that I noticed so I didn’t look at those.
