The Critics Choice Association (CCA) has announced the film category nominees for the 29th Annual Critics Choice Awards.

Barbie is outrunning the field with 18, with mentions for Best Picture, Director, Screenplay, and five acting nominations, including stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling who received two each.

Oppenheimer has 13 nominations.

Other films of genre interest receiving nominations are Wonka, The Creator, Asteroid City, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, The Boy and the Heron, Elemental, Nimona, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, Wish, Godzilla Minus One, and The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

The winners will be revealed in a ceremony airing Sunday, January 14, 2024.
