The winner of the Prix Utopiales BD (BD = Bande Dessinée = Comic Strip) for 2022 was announced at Utopiales, the International Science Fiction Festival of Nantes, on October 31.

The winner is Elene Usdin for “René e aux bois dormants” (Éditions Sarbacane).

The prize, worth 2000 Euros, is awarded to the best comic of the year by the sci-fi comics readers club of the Nantes (France) municipal library.

The prize jury was chaired by Mathieu Bablet, last year’s winner of the Prix Utopiales BD.
