Last week Robert J. Sawyer debated Susan N. Herman, president of the American Civil Liberties Union, in Switzerland as part of the 44th St. Gallen Symposium.

The issue was “Resolved: Privacy is an outdated concept,” and Sawyer took the affirmative.
