The Scotiabank Giller Prize 2022 shortlist was released September 27. The Prize is a celebration of Canadian literary talent. One work of genre interest is still in the running:

• Kim Fu’s story collection Lesser Known Monsters of the 21st Century

The other finalists are:

• Rawi Hage’s story collection, Stray Dogs
• Tsering Yangzom Lama’s novel, We Measure the Earth With Our Bodies
• Suzette Mayr’s novel, The Sleeping Car Porter
• Noor Naga’s novel, If an Egyptian Cannot Speak English
