No surprises but a solid set of winners.
I must say that is a very nice looking trophy.

Always good to attend. I wish more winners were present — especially Gardner. Good group. Many of us are at a tiki bar now, despite Ms Willis’s permission to remove our costumes.
“Um. This is my shirt,” I replied.
I seldom manage to pick many of the winners when I vote in the Locus Poll, but this year was different, with the vast majority of the winners in my top five choices this year.
This either indicates the winners were very good this year or that the end of things is nigh.
Congrats to the winners! I’m currently enjoying Kowal’s novel in audiobook form, I enjoyed Roanhorse’s novel, and I loved Artificial Condition by Wells. 😀 I’m very happy Charles Vess won the Artist award; he’s one of my favorite artists, squee!
