  2. I also LOL’d at the phrasing of (14). “From the creator of Ender’s Game,” but not mentioning OSC’s name. I guess that’s one way to try and thread the needle… 😛

  3. It might be nice to separate the fan-made fake trailers from the actual real trailers.

    (Like the fake “Batman 2018” fan-made trailer you start with. Aside from the fact that the film isn’t in production yet or even written, so it would be hard to have a trailer, it’s labeled “FM” for those who aren’t otherwise paying attention.)

    OTOH, I suppose those of us particularly interested in movie trailers will have seen them when they dropped, anyway.

  4. 6) two bricks and two martial artists- that’s just bad team design. they need an energy projector (preferably flying) and either a psychic or a utility character. I mean look at the Fantastic Four; they have a much better load-out.

  5. I’m a little disturbed at the amount of boobage and near-nudity displayed just in the preview images.

    That’s generally a “feature” of the preview image, not of the trailer. To make the preview image eye-catching, many people who upload to Youtube chose the frame with most nudity as pre-view image.

    The trailer for “Embers” is noteworthy in that the near-nudity in the preview image is pretty much the only near-nudity in the entire trailer. It’s almost like they’ve included that scene in the trailer so they could have an eye-catching preview image on Youtube.

    I noticed that too — name prominently missing from the trailer as well. Of course, the “BYUtv” is a big tipoff.

    For some reason, I was getting a whole Battlefield Earth vibe from that trailer. 😀
