Top 10 Stories for June 2021

Worldcon 76’s settlement with Jon Del Arroz, ending three years of litigation — File 770’s 11th most-read story of the past year — seems like it happened a long time ago, not just in the first week of June.

That is because since then the internal and external stresses on this year’s Worldcon, DisCon III, involving some of its policies toward Hugo finalists, led to the successive resignations of the Hugo administration team, and the convention chair – reported in what have proved to be the 3rd and 15th most-read stories of the past year.

And there was a constellation of related Worldcon news items filling out the list of the top stories in June according to Google Analytics.
