2016 Ditmar Preliminary Ballot

The preliminary ballot for the 2016 Australian SF (“Ditmar”) Awards has been posted for review. Changes may be made before the final ballot is set if discrepancies are found.

The Ditmar Awards will be given at Contact 2016, the Australian National SF Convention, to be held in Brisbane March 25-28.

  1. I recognize just a few of these… so, MOAR recommendations. Woe is me 😛

    I absolutely loved Of Sorrow and Such. It’s on my Hugo ballot – though I’ve no great hopes for my Hugo ballot, so I’m glad to see it being recognized 🙂

    The Chart of the Vagrant Mariner I read in F&SF, but it didn’t stick with me.

    I was not aware someone had published an anthology titled Cranky Ladies of History, but I heartily applaud the endeavor!

  2. I was wondering something about the Ditmars, which I resolved with a trip to Wikipedia, but while I was there I discovered that there was once a Ditmar Award for Best Fannish Cat! The Ditmar is now my favourite award.

    I think you might have some backup on Of Sorrow and Such, I really liked it and I’ve seen it get good mentions elsewhere.
