2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards

The 2021 MTV & TV Awards were announced in a ceremony aired on Sunday, May 16.

Genre dominated the night with Disney+’s WandaVision taking four awards, including Best Show, while The Falcon and the Winter Soldier won two.

2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards Nominations

The 2021 MTV & TV Awards nominees are out. Disney+’s WandaVision leads the scripted nominations with five including best show, best performance in a show and best villain. Amazon’s The Boys has four nominations and also is up for best show.

Finally – in the Best Musical Moment category A Star Is Born’s “Shallow” continued its uninterrupted dominance of the awards season against a field where five of the eight nominees were sff, including Captain Marvel, “Just A Girl”; Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, “Masquerade”; Riverdale, “Seventeen”; Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, “Sunflower”; and The Umbrella Academy, “I Think We’re Alone Now”.
